Did You Know?

Everyone you see - and don't see - at the theater is a volunteer. The actors, servers, set builders, table decorators, lawn mowers, snow shovelers, ad salesmen, ticket sellers, dishwashers, board members, janitors, graphic designers, hair stylists... everyone. For over 30 years, we've never had an employee. It's been - and remains - a story written exclusively by volunteers.

Each year it takes thousands of volunteer hours to keep The Chamber Players running smoothly. Anyone who can give 3 or 4 hours a year makes a real difference. Someone who gives 3 or 4 hours a month is a game-changer.

Have time? Tell us. We have never had too many volunteers. There are many ways you could make an instant impact.

Dishwashers

Greet 'em & Seat 'em

We need a pair of good-natured volunteers to keep our dishwashing machine company during each show. Each time you volunteer, you have a chance to win 2 free tickets to any one of our shows.

Greet 'em & Seat 'em

Be a helpful, friendly face when our guests first arrive. As a volunteer greeter, you'll meet everyone who comes to the theater, show them to their table and help maintain our excellent service reputation. (About one hour on show dates.)

Social Media & Website Coordinators

There are dozens of ways we could be better at Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter. We'd love to launch a YouTube channel to promote the theater. We have lots of ideas for our website, too.
