Our 32nd Season

We're proud to announce our 32nd Season of dinner theatre. How time flies on the Gary Ray Stapp Family Stage...

aUGUST 19-21 & 25-28, 2022

"The Smell of the Kill" directed by Vicki Markham

Take three delicious, malicious wives, add three miserable, unloving husbands—and chill. That's the recipe of Michele Lowe's tantalizing new comedy that had Broadway audiences cheering.

Nicky, Debra and Molly have tolerated one another during once-a-month dinners for years. While their spouses play golf in the dining room, the women reveal that all three marriages are on the brink of disaster and all three women are facing the challenges of their lives. Nicky's husband has been indicted for embezzlement, Molly's husband is stalking her and Debra's husband is leaving her for another woman.  When the men mistakenly lock themselves in a basement meat locker the women are faced with a life-or-death decision—should they leave the men out in the cold—permanently—or let them thaw? One by one the women make their choices with more than a little help from one another.

 "…nice, mean fun…a deft little anti-love story…light-hearted, cold-hearted…" (Newsday)

"[a] devilish, wicked, ultimately touching black comedy." (The Berkshire Eagle)

december 2-4 & 8-11, 2022

"A Doublewide, Texas Christmas" directed by Krystal Donaldson

You enjoyed the trailer park madness of the Crumpler family and friends in "Doublewide, Texas" last season. Now they're back for the holidays!  Not only are the trailer park residents dealing with the stress of the holiday season, but they’ve just discovered that Doublewide is being double-crossed by the County. With their official incorporation papers in jeopardy, this band of eccentric Texans throw themselves into taking on the “Big Guys.” Determined to bolster their legitimacy, they first set their sights on the County-wide “Battle of The Mangers” competition. They conspire to win this smackdown with their “Nativity At The Alamo” entry…by any means possible.

february 24-26 & March 2-5, 2023

"The Pie Ladies" directed by Dennis Richards

The Pie Ladies pick up their rolling pins to make dozens of pies for the church supper. But as they busily bake pies, they decide to create their own country, land in jail after trying to protect the flag of their new country and go on a dream vacation cruise. But theirs is a recipe for disaster!

june 2-4 & 8-11, 2023

"The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church" directed by Tom Emerson, Jr.

Last Christmas was a "spectacular" with the ladies of the Charitable Sisterhood and this summer, we'll tell you how their story began.

The roads are flooded, the bridges are washed out, and less generous souls are staying safely indoors, but it takes more than a little rain to keep the ladies of the Charitable Sisterhood from fulfilling their sworn mission. Bea, Lorraine, Tina and Janet are back to organize a relief effort for homeless Guatemalans. They're greeted with a small mountain of community donations—but one woman's junk is another woman's treasure, and that pile of stuff in this little church basement is hiding a thing or two.

Come sit in on this month's meeting in the basement of Second Trinity Victory Church; our five angels of mercy will leave you breathless with laughter as they do their best to help the victims of global disaster, spiritual deprivation and, most of all, one another. A hilarious and heartwarming play!
